The Husqvarna K 540i has an excellent power-to-weight ratio, meaning that it is well suited for making quick cuts and working on lighter jobs with concrete. For example, a simple and intuitive keypad lets you input commands quickly – you can also use the keypad to activate the SavETM setting, which preserves the saw’s runtime. Additionally, a set of ergonomic handles and a perfectly centralised blade make your control over the saw, and stability while using it, even better.
The K540i has a brushless motor, developed in-house by Husqvarna, which, when compared to your standard brush motor, is 25 % more efficient! This results in an improved, more consistently high torque as you cut, letting you get better and cleaner results.
For safety, one of the best things about the Husqvarna K 540i power cutter is its electric blade brake. When you’re done using this quick cut saw and switch it off, the blade stops its rotation incredibly quickly. In just 3.1 seconds, the blade goes from full speed to zero, making sure your safety – and the safety of those around you – is a sure thing.
Switchable, Reusable Battery Design
This high-quality power cutter uses two types of Husqvarna battery, the 40-B220X and 40-B330X, which are both compatible with a wide variety of other Husqvarna tools and machines. As a result, it’s incredibly easy to switch batteries between products as you get through different onsite tasks. Plus, if you already have Husqvarna equipment that uses one of these batteries, you can just charge those up and pop them into the K540i to get going!
In addition to the excellent battery design, the Husqvarna K 540i has a thoughtfully engineered battery slot. This demo saw uses a side-feeding battery placement, which means that the battery slides in sideways rather than inserting vertically. Because of this, and because both sides of the slot are open-ended, the battery can cool more efficiently. And not only that, there’s less likelihood of any dust, moisture, or slurry getting stuck inside the battery compartment, which means that the lifespan of your batteries is extended and preserved.
